Minutes of the extra-ordinary Council Meeting held on Wednesday 18th March 2025 in Lindsey Village Hall, Church Road, Lindsey which commenced at 7.00pm.

In attendance
Cllrs. R Corcoran, M Hainsworth, B Howe, R Howe, J Moore and A Sturgeon.

To Receive Nomination for the Chair for the Meeting

Cllr. Corcoran was nominated and accepted the position of Chair for the evening, aif. The Chair, the meeting and thanked all for attending. The statement on reporting at meetings of the parish council was taken as read.

Apologies of Absence

  1. To receive apologies of absence – apologies of absence were received from Cllr. Arthey and the Clerk. Councillor Corcoran took the minutes for the meeting.

Declaration of Members Interest

  1. To receive declarations of registrable, other and non-registerable interests as detailed in Appendix B of the LGA Model Code of Conduct Model Code of Conduct 2020 – There were no declarations of interests.
  2. There were no declarations of gifts of hospitality received exceeding £50.
  3. There were no requests for dispensations for the agenda under discussion.

Minutes of Previous Meetings

  1. To note the minutes of the following Council Meeting: 12th March 2025 – will be submitted for formal approval at the meeting of 14th May 2025.

  1. To receive comments from the public on the agenda as published – there were no members of the public present.

Planning Matters

  1. To consider the following planning applications:
    • DC/25/01063 - Full Planning Application – Erection of 2 no. crop storage buildings, new vehicular access from Priory Hill, concrete pad/yard, 1.8 high security fencing and associated works. Location: Seagers Cottage, Kersey Road – following discussion it was resolved that the parish council raised no objection and were in agreement with the proposal but the following points should be included for consideration:
      • It would like to see some landscaping around the perimeter, including hedging and trees.
      • Solar panels should be considered for the south facing roofs.

  1. To note the Annual Parish Meeting is scheduled for 14th May 2025 to commence at 7.00pm.
  2. To note the next meeting will be the Annual Council Meeting which is scheduled for 14th May 2025 to follow the Annual Parish Meeting.

There being no other business the Chairman declared the meeting closed 7.19pm.
